Should I buy a polka dotted strat?

To emulate my guitar hero?

His name is ______________?

I'll give you a hint. Eric Clapton said that Jimi Hendrix was like this GUY on acid.

Buddy Guy is great. If you want to emulate him that's a worthwhile effort, but I'd try to change up the polka dots or something, so that you are more acknowledging him yet not copying the look exactly. I love SRV (who of course loved Buddy Guy and learned much from him), but if I were to walk out on stage wearing a bolero hat with a guitar that had SRV I think it would be taken badly. Maybe just polka dots on the headstock or pick guard or something. Then, you're kinda "winking" to the audience members who know what you mean.

That's the way I'd go at least. Oh, I'm assuming that you're playing live too....

Buy a sunburst Les Paul and emulate Duane Allman. No one ever better than him.
I suppose you are talking about Buddy Guy. Big influence on Hendrix

The pickups on the Buddy Guy Strat are pretty sweet, but I'm not crazy about the neck, and the polka dots are lame. I generally avoid Strats, though, so don't listen to me.
