Anyone recommend some good choices to get a Gary Moore/Jeff Beck/Gilmoure sound? Hum bucking pickups are the best in my opinion. they are powerful but not noisy. They have great sustain and they produce a warm sound, they can also sound very bright and clean. Or you can go with the open coil P-90 pickups witch give you a heavier nosier hard rock edge. There great too they tend to give more feed back since they are uncovered. Gibson Pearly gates humbucker.. has that low end growl that blues players like. |
