i love the tone in shadow play and tattoo'd lady. first of all don't tell me to buy the rory strat cuz i dont wanna do that. i know he used a 62 strat but with what mods, pickups and stuff? and what amps did he use? i understand he used many marshall amps and linked them together but idk if that is in fact true. thanks for reading You mean how "did" Rory get his tone......ya know he's gone , dontcha?! Actually, i read an interview once where he said he never..EVER cleaned his guitar, and that if he did then that would change the tone. I don't know how much of that would be true (cause i clean my guitars...from time to time , LOL!) so i never tried the "Tone saver grime buildup" method, but ya never know...it may work..... |
