Who remembers the great Ellen McIllwaine?

I saw her 2 years ago in Toronto. I don't know why she's not more successful!?! She's got a killer voice and is a good guitarist.... I think she might have some trouble in the songwriting dept. In the past 10 years, she's released 3 albums, with much of the same material.

I do. I believe that she was from the early 70s and had kind of a Joplin kind of voice. She was blues, rock, and a little folk all rolled up in one nice package. Back then there was a lot of soulful women rockers: Ten Wheel Drive with Genya Ravan, Cold Blood, Zephyr, etc.
