Who is the best blues guitar in the world?

i ment blues guitar player

That is funny I was just asking someone that last night at work he said BB King I agree

George Benson

Albert Johnson or Stevie Ray Vaughn

I would have to say B.B. king.

BB King!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

b b king

Id say B.B king Teaching Kenny Wayne Shepherd the way of the Blues.

Bonnie Raitt!!! She's frackin awesome!!!!!

people are not guitars. you can`t play us

As for living guitarists I'd have to go with either B.B. King or Clapton.

I give props to Robert Cray, Johnny Lang and Derek Trucks.
Johnny Winter is also excellent.

All time would be hard name. Maybe John Lee Hooker, Stevie Ray or Duane Allman.

stevie ray vaughn or eric clapton for sure

BB King, listen to a lot of his old stuff and he not only has the best voice but plays so deliciously, my ears just eat it up!

john litgow!

There's so many great blues players it's very hard to narrow it down to only one person. I like Eric Clapton, SRV, Roy Buchanan, and Gary Moore a lot but, when it comes down to sending shivers down my spine, I have to pick Albert Collins above the others.

Stevie Ray Vaughan

Kenny Wayne Shepard is the best living Blues picker in the world.

Bo Diddley

Eric Clapton

Jimi Hendrix was the best before he died.

There are many, but I will cast a vote for Buddy Guy! I assume you mean living.

This is a difficult question. One would need to take into account 1. Technical Skill 2. Historic influence
I am a blues player myself, and from what I know I would have to say Robert Johnson.

This is running into the ground.. Who do you think? And please give some examples? Please forgive me but broaden this aspect a little..Johnny Winter on one of the "Mean Town Blues" tunes or which Bloomfield track or Dickie Bett's call on "One Way Out" or Rory Gallagher on "In Your Town"...Charlie Christian or Jimi on one of the versions of "Machine Gun" at the Fillmore East...it's not about who is the best but the soul power.Peace.

What a interesting question? for 60 to 80s is BB king , for 80s to 90 is Eric Clapton.for 2000 to present is Tracy Chapman.

Buddy Guy

Anthony Gomes

Walter Trout

Ronnie Earl

Currently or of all time?
Of all time, either Stevie Ray Vaughn or Mike Bloomfield. I would say Mike Bloomfield.
Currently, I really don't know. Maybe Eric Clapton .

Alvin Lee formerly of Ten Years After

Buddy Guy all the way!

Living would be: Eric Clapton or Buddy Guy.

Deceased would be: Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Mississippi John Hurt

SRV and BB King and Muddy Waters.

Stevie Ray Vaughan

Lucille which is owned and operated by BB King
