What wah wah pedal would most sound like jimi hendrix.?

Dunlop Crybaby (the original) I'm pretty sure that's what he used. That's what I use and it sounds great!

Try a Vox

The good old Dunlop CryBaby is what he used originally.

Just get any one, you're only talking about one component of the Hendrix sound. It's funny how people would suggest buying the exact same thing as an artist uses will give you there sound. Maybe if they ever sell a "Jimi brain and fingers" kit , then i'd start saying it too. LOL!

If you want to get really close to the Hendrix sound, your off the shelf Dunlop or Vox just isn't gonna cut it. Call in the professionals:

You are looking in particular at the Picture Wah from RMC, and the Clyde Wahs from Fulltone. They are very pricey but I think you'll agree that the price is justified once you hear them.

BTW: Hendrix didn't use a Dunlop Crybaby, because Dunlop didn't exist at the time and Crybaby name was a trademark of Vox/JEN (I think). His wah was frequently not a Crybaby, but a Vox Clyde McCoy (which the RMC and Fulltone wahs are based on)

He used a "Cry Baby" wah wah pedal that was made by Vox I believe. He also used an "Arbiter Of England Fuzz Face".

Hi
Jimmy used a VOX wha. It currently is put out by vOX as the Clyde McCoy model wha. Dunlop was not even a company when jimi was alive i don't think. Though they do have a Jimi Hendrixs model wha that is essentially the vox wha, it has his signature on it and sounds great. But he played a VOX Wha. Not a Dunlop.

He used a Vox Wah.. In fact the late SRV owned one of Jimi's Vox wah pedeals and used it in his rig.

Jimi actually played with the original Vox Wah, but i think DigiTech put out a signature Hendrix Wah not too long ago, check that out

The Digitech Jimi Hendrix Wah
created to his spec's.

Jimi used a Crybaby Wah and a Univibe along with the Fuzzface.

Jimi strung stuff together like christmas lights. He got his sound because he experimented with various effects. Some of the stuff was custom made because at the time that's what you had to do. Build it, string it together, see what works. That was part of his genius.
