I believe this particular club is located on a one way street and has live singers and known for their really big hot dogs with all kinds of good stuff on them. I saw this club featured with Morgan Freemans club in Clarksdale Miss. on a PBS broadcast. You are talking about The Subway (God Rest Its Soul, its Rhythm and Blues, and all the great musicians I have seen there). It was in the basement of the old Sommers Hotel, and sadly is no longer there. The Subway might be the club you are refering to but it is no longer there. Jackson is in the process of renovating their music district and is supposed to rival Beal St in Nashville when they are finished. sounds like the subway lounge
