Any suggestions? |
Any good blues bands or songs you can recommend? I'm in the mood for blues and I've over listened to the stuff I have. I don't know what you have already but if you haven't heard of the following, check them out - Nickels and Dimes / Mitch Kashmar Howlin Wolf John Mayall rod piazza and the mighty fliers, william clark(passed away bout 13 years ago)gary primish, lil charlie and the night cats, kim wilson, mark hummel,i have played harmonica and blues flute for 30 years, these,i feel represent the best of the 2000's era.they have stuck to the tradition.Chicago and west coast jump type of blues, and have brought it into the present.good stuff.william clark had a style that tip toed into the jazz world, while keeping it in the blues vein.he got that big band sound with a harp. Leadbelly My time after a while (Live)-Buddy Guy What I like to do is go to a library and check out a cd by an artist I've never heard of, or that I've heard the name but not the music. That way you can listen to new music, but if you don't like it you don't lose any money. That is how I discovered Taj Majal. Albert King- Crosscut Saw, Personal Manager son house if you wanna go delta, not really knowing who you've overlistened i cant recommend many others. email me a list of who you have and I'll send you a list back of who to try anything stevie ray vaughan |
