How about Blues traveler, great sound. John Popper on the harmonica is amazing.

All rock originated from blues. Led Zeppelin is awesome, the greatest band in the world, and they can be pretty bluesy.

almand brothers have some bluesy stuff
so does hendrix, check out red house
bb king of course
thats about as far as i am on that

How about Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Johnny Winter, The Fabulous Thunderbirds (older stuff), ..."The Master"- Albert King, and of course Stevie Ray Vaughan.... just to name a few.

''muddy waters'' is the poster band for the blues, check them out

stevie ray vaughan and double trouble.

Big Mama Thornton and The Muddy Waters Band.

coco monyoya...walter trout

Check out Fat Possum Records (www.fatpossum.com). The Black Keys have a couple of records with them, and they've got a few other really good ones on their label. Alligator Records (www.alligator.com) is another good one.

I have no affiliation with either of them, btw. I just like their artists.

Many bands out there incorporate all kinds of music styles into their music. Metallica for instance use Country, Blues and even some classical inspiration in there.

A great blues musician though, has to be Stevie Ray Vaughan RIP.

Classics OK?
Allman Brothers (Live At The Fillmore East)
Led Zeppelin (first album)
Savoy Brown (Blue Matter or Getting To The Point)
Johnny Winter (Progressive Blues Experiment)

Savoy Brown
Allman Brothers
John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers
Roomful Of Blues
Roy Buchannan
The Rolling Stones have some GREAT blues songs..

AC/DC.

They are a the epitome of the progression of blues developing into rock.

Try their earlier albums, the ones with Bon Scott as the lead singer. Bon was the best. Every album up to and including Highway to Hell had Bon. The album after Highway to Hell was Back In Black. Its really good too, and also their last worthwhile album.

I am a blues-rock guitarist and I like " 1.FM Blues " on the Apple iTunes internet radio - I listen to it a LOT.

Some recommendations - Joe Bonamassa, Walter Trout (both great), Lance Lopez, Popa Chubby, and anybody else on that radio station. Glad to hear there's a blues-rock fan on here!
