What Turning Does Charley Patton Use?

Patton used various open tunings as far as I'm aware of. Most of the old guys didn't really tune with tuners. They just tuned the guitar as they heard it in their head. If it sounded right, they played.

My guess would be Drop D, A, E, and probably G. Just a hunch.

Specifically he played Spoonful Blues in open E tuning. As the answer above states he more than likely used many tunings.
It's rumored he tuned his guitar a third or so above concert pitch, to play in Bb or B, the logic behind that is it was louder.
