Can you ask a question for a friend?

He's looking for a race records, blues hollah, 'Ida's got me down in bed' by Blind Drunk Rastus Lincoln Washington jnr. out of Arkansas. Circa 1920 (His guess)

You're a fan of Blind Drunk Rastus too????

LOVE his work!

During the blues revival of the mid-60's they rediscovered him in a skid-row hotel for recovering blind folks (but he was still an alcoholic). In a stupor, he signed away right sot songs that were believed to have been in the public domain and his other hit:

"Feet, don't fail to make a deal with the devil blues" was recorded by Ozzy Van Led Dead in the late 1970's (big hit for them). They renamed the tune "Devil Feet" and it went triple platnum.

What?

ok please start your question again

I think what too???

?

Not another mixer,,,

R u drunk? Try again.... :-)

Blind drunk Rastus Lincoln Washington Jr. singin Ida's got me down in bed. If you find it post it for the rest of us.

ok why are you asking a question for a friend? this could be a blues song in itself, like maybe your friend is dumb and cant ask for the record himself so you are doing it to enliven his soul or something? anyway if you are looking for these records maybe you could go online to some of the big auctions, like Christies or Bonhams and search there for them.
