Yes, he is a very electic artist that can't really be pinned down to one style of music! He has released many good albums, like Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs, Real Gone, Alice, Mule Variations & so on. I think people who admire him and listen to his music are definitely some of the more openminded people out there.

I have tried.....but not so much.

yes. tom is either really good or really bad, you can't be lukewarm to a tom waits tune. His acting is also really good. he's been in tons of movies.
