Good Blues joint in Chicago?

I'm going to Chicago next week and would like to visit an authentic Chicago Blues bar, not a touristy place like House of Blues. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Buddy Guy's Legends was always the best but I heard that he had to move from the location on Wabash last year because they wouldn't renew his lease so you might want to look up the new address.

Kingston Mines is also very good & I think that one is on North Clark or Lincoln.

Agree with the above. Buddy Guy's is still open at the same place. Here is the line up for this month.

I was at Kingston Mines years ago. It was pretty authentic and sure no House of Blues. I hope it is still there. As in any big city at night, be careful!

Buddy Guy's Legends. Buddy has the best of the best of the blues artists at his place.
754 S.Wabash.
Rosa's on West Armitage if Melvin Taylor is there.

Blues on Halsted Dawg!

Most of the best places have closed in Chicago, but Buddy Guy's Legends is still open. Kingston Mines is still a great all-around venue. B.L.U.E.S. on Halstead is great.

Also, if you want to do some shopping or find out more information stop in the Jazz Record Mart. They can really give you the lowdown, as it's also the home of Chicago's famed Delmark Records.

the house of blues plus there many small clubs all over
