Does anyone know of album which presented old Blues songs reworked and remixed into techno songs?

A few years ago, on a plane, I heard an compilation album which presents old Blues songs remixed into Techno songs. I cannot remember the name or any of the songs on it. I simply remember that I really liked the album. Any help at all? Anyone? Argh!

I want to say, the original music was recorded in the 20-40's.

It could be Alan Lomax's Southern Journey Revisited by Tangle Eye.

Two guys took the field recordings that Alan Lomax recorded between 1940 and 1960, and remixed them into a new sound. I have never actually heard any of these remixes, but it always seemed like an interesting concept. If I ever saw the CD in a store, I would probably buy it. I have several of the original Alan Lomax recordings which are amazing. He drove around the South recording people at prisons, rural churches, local dances, etc. Moby also remixed some of these recordings for his "Play" album. Are you thinking about the 'Verve Remixed' series? Verve Remixed 1, 2 and 3 contain songs from Billie Holliday, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Ella and many other classic jazz vocalists. This might be the one!

Could it be R.L. Burnside? I've heard some of his stuff with an electronic drum beat behind it. If not check him out anyways. He's great!!!!

Moby is well know for re-working old blues songs and did an album maybe 4 or 5 years ago with loads of old samples from the blues era.I can't remember the album name but if you download most of his tracks i'm sure they will be in there!
