I want someone to email with some settings such as "turn bass knob to 4" turn the amp setting to "blackface" or "British" and reverb to "hall" and then turn the knob to 4. that is the kind of things im wanting.
I need a good bluesy distortion for blues and a great jazz settting and another for good old chicken pickin.
anyone familiar with this amp will know what im talking about
thank you Yeah , i've heard of , but not actually experienced this "modeling" amp - but i offer you this: Besides a modeling section (digital) on a lot of new amps, they still pretty much all rely on the ol' tried and true basic functions of knob control for things like vol, bass, treb , gain , reverb level , etc. I don't know how many modeling and or effect presets the thing has , but you can start first by not using any effects and just concentrate on a basic amp sound. Go through the models on those , i'm sure some of the names are pretty self explanatory , but listen for what you like. set all your treble and bass , mids , etc flat. As you run through the model presets you can get a rough idea of what you want - "British" is most likely Marshall or Vox AC30 type sound, "Blackface" would be the version of the older Fender amp - and i'm pretty sure you can go from clean to crunch on that , anything Fender-ish will get you a chicken pickin tone...oh wait...you ARE playing a Fender, oops.! LOL! Dude, just plug that sucker n and go with what you like. One of the cool things about guitar is you can do what you want.
I have a fender stage 1000 amp, believe it or not I actually get a really cool sound when I distort the "Accoustic simulator" all to hell! I found this out by accident and have made it part of my "little bag of tricks." |
