Blues for a BBQ? well .... if you're REALLY old school, you could go with Barbecue Bob and Laughing Charlie (also some Tampa Red and Georgia Tom would be fun) ...
But, I'd say some 70's blues would be upbeat, but still have a good older sound - like a transistion from Chicago to modern.
As for BBQ - beer butt chicken. well if you are going to have a blues Bar B Que, you would want to play some of the more upbeat Blues songs. Some Stevie Ray, Phat possum records. |
