Which Hard Rock Blues band, would you recommend me, besides Great White?? Ian Moore Gary Moore Sonny Landreth Kenny Wayne Shepard Storyville (Great band with double trouble as rhythm Led Zeppelin (particularly the first 2 albums for rock-blues). They have never been matched in that field, let alone beaten. Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, The Black Crowes. No disrespect, but Great White was NEVER any kind of blues band, hard rock or otherwise. Their big song, "Once Bitten Twice Shy" was a rocking shuffle, written by the English singer/songwriter Ian Hunter. Check out Ian's version, w/Mick Ronson's fiery guitar work for a real taste of guitar theory. Ronson was always thinking of the song first, not the solo. led zeppelin of course and there's allman brothers band and yes, the immortal Cream! you want more the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Chicken Shack, Creedence Clearwater Revival Have you heard about Greg and Duane of the Allman Bros. Band? Never liked Blues until I heard these guys. Storyville is a very good band to start with. You might have better luck asking in the rock catagory. This will be laughed at by all, but Poison Foghat. The Allman Brothers would be at the top of the list. Led Zepplin Led Zeppelin is probably the best blues rock band of all time but here's a few other ones: |
