Are you allowed to take digital cameras into the House of Blues? |
I'm going to the House of Blues to see Sum 41, and I wanna take pictures. Will they take it at the door, or can I take my camera in? No Flash Photography!! Hmm...That depends. Every venue has their own specific rules that they adhere to, and even specific ones for different concerts. I know I went to Projekt Revolution at a House of Blues, and they didn't allow cameras, but I had snuck one in, and the security guards didn't really care once we had it it out for the first time. If they say no cameras, maybe try hiding it in certain places that I'll let you figure out. Be creative. If you're a girl, try inside your bra or wear pantyhose. For a guy, maybe briefs over boxers or....um....I don't really know. Somewhere where they wouldn't pat you down if they do that sort of thing. Luckily, my venue wasn't too strict, but like I said, best thing to do is call ahead and see what their policies are. Nope, sorry They don't call it the "House of Rules" for nothing. I've shot in there before (professionally), but you have to sign a waiver form. OTOH, if you know the band and make previous arrangements with them or the road manager, you've got a better chance of getting a photo pass. yes |
