Hats off to you sir! the full album of texas flood ;steve ray vaughn "Drinkin' Straight Tequila" by Chris Cain, is an up-tempo blues song. You will find yourself humming it. His guitar playing is incredible.
"Ain't Got Nothing But The Blues" by Robben Ford is a little jazzier - really really nice.
"Busy Being Blue" by K.D. Lang. Her voice is beautiful on this one. rainy days and mondays by the carpenters If you're coming from a rock background - AC/DC is always good blues-based rock (especially the older stuff with Bon Scott), and Clutch's last couple of albums. Here is a bunch of artists (sorry for the dupes, it's late), from soem of my old mix tapes. Some are local to Chicago, and they might not have CD's at iTunes. Good luck.
