How many of you on here have done Guitar Center's King of the Blues competition?

I did this past march and april and it was a blast. If you did tell me what you thought about it. Were the judges fair or were they biased to a certain type of style. Thanks

Haven't but it sounds like it could be fun, I do play electric guitar mostly Jimi Hendrix influence but some Stevie Ray Vaughn as well.
I play all styles now from blues, funk, rock, acid, metal, thrash.

I like doing the Jimi tricks too when I play Jimi stuff.
I have a lot of fun playing.

That is cool we play pretty much the same styles, I learned self taught in 1985 and have been playing ever since. Report It

I have that disc that came with a recent Guitarworld mag , and in it was a clip of the winning performance , the winner Adam Loesch (sp?) is a pretty hot player and i enjoyed the clip. And he did it all on an acoustic guitar with a pickup installed, even played some pretty cool overdriven dirty blues tone.
