Gimme some good blues (or jazz) songs for depression?

I trying to download some songs ,cuz I just saw the girl I had a crush and I was too meek to actually engage in good conversation and failed to ask for her num or myspace.... I feel like failed...

Alot of common artist make songs with the same titles..so if you could include the artists.

Aww, you poor baby, don't say that...another girl will come along in good time, don't worry about it.

But if you really want good, sad, blues, search for Muddy Waters or Stevie Ray Vaughan. I can't promise you all their songs will be sad, but generally most blues songs have a sad feel.

Try this song:

The Sky Is Crying
by Stevie Ray Vaughan

Cheers

the thrill is gone
easy to love
travelin light (I got no one to love and care for me)
ball and chain

Sweetie, maybe you should do the opposite! I'm kinda bummed right now, but I'm listening to r&b, hip hop & rap. Ya know, music I can dance to. Just dancin around my livin room like a fool! lol! Cheers me up!

You'll go through many heartbreaks throughout your life. You'll make it!

Take care!

Rory Gallagher- My Used To Be

Man, the blues is about healing! people think if you're sad you should play some happy music, but that ain't true! YOu need to start off sad, understand those feelings. Then play some happy tunes.

I would start off with just about anything by Lightnin' Hopkins and or John Lee Hooker for this sort of feeling.

Then, when feeling that - move onto some T-bone Walker, or some Cab Calloway!

Round it all out with "Let the Good Times Roll" by Louis Jordan.

Good luck, brother!

BB King.. The Thrill is Gone.

BB King ; Sweet sixteen, Mutha fouya, How blue can you get,

Try:
"It Feels Like Rain" by Buddy Guy
"Yellow Moon" by The Neville Brothers
"Couldn't Stand the Weather" by Stevie Ray Vaughan

And check out the other suggestions, let the music move you, inspire you. Getting "the blues" is not the end its the beginning.

Next try talking to your crush ask her if she ever gets the blues, share your music with her.
Failure is only temporary, and not fatal.

"Ya gotta pay yer dues to play the blues"

I've Been Down So Godammed Long (That It Looks Like Up To Me)

various artists, including a pretty good one by The Doors

Hello,, Hey Joe , Red House , Angel , Message of Love & Power of Love, all by Jimi Hendrix ,,Mystery, and Head above the Water by The James Gang ( Bang and Miami albums), Miracles by Jefferson Starship,,Black Dog by Led Zeppelin,, just a few to stew with....

If I had but one blues CD, it would be the late Freddy King
Freddy King 1934-1973
The whole album is (postumously) good, but his rendition of
"T'ain't nobody's business if I do" is outstanding- he sings every note like it was his last. It also features a young, skinny Eric Clapton, who credits King with having taught him how to play "Blues", from sessions made in 1972
