I know this because a while back, a popular guitar magazine did a feature on it , and a few people from the mag met JIm (who brought the guitar with him) at a hotel room to inspect the guitar. They actually took it apart, and made measurements and diagrams and notations and all that junk , ran tests on all 3 pickups to measure the output, notated each scratch and ding. Kinda funny in a way - they're looking for answers in a piece of gear , .....when what really happened...came from Stevies hands. His brother Jimmy has custody of all of his brother's guitars, except for one that was donated to the Smithsonian. I am using it as a planter for my fall mums. It looks so neat-o. |
