What Do You Think Of my Blues Song?

We had to write a blues song for music class. I know it sounds dumb, but I couldn't think of anything else. How's this?

My teddy bear鈥檚 missing
I鈥檓 feeling so blue
My teddy bear鈥檚 missing
I鈥檓 feeling so blue
Oh, Mr. Teddy Bear, where could you be?
I鈥檝e looked in my closet
And the bathroom too
I鈥檝e looked in my closet
And the bathroom too
Oh, Mr. Teddy Bear, where could you be?
I asked my old man now
He says he don鈥檛 know
I asked my old man now
He says he don鈥檛 know
Oh, Mr. Teddy Bear, where could you be?
My bear is not anywhere
I think that he鈥檚 gone
My bear is not anywhere
I think that he鈥檚 gone
Oh, Mr. Teddy Bear, where could you be?

I like the repeating chorus.

Makes for a good hook.

Haha, nice!

keep trying and let the song write it self you are trying to force it you cant force a song it has to come to you naturally . you cant pick a subject and force it into a song to you half to live the blues before you can write a blues song you do have some talent but you also need to experience life's hard times

"KEEP IT LIVE"
your friend
Satan Handy

teddy bears are just a little too weak a subject for blues. you miss a man or a woman. Or you are a mean vicious animal that seduces women but no teddy bear

Not bad, not bad at all! Keep it up...
