Bessie Smith songs covered by Janis Joplin?

I heard Janis Joplin cover Leadbelly, Big Mama Thornton, but never Bessie Smith. Isn't it her idol? Please help me. If you know any Bessie Smith that Janis Joplin sang, please let me know.

Bessie Smith's influence on Janis Joplin is well noted. "Trouble in Mind," while not a Bessie Smith song, is Janis' most bluesy song and is certainly evocative of Bessie's very original vocal style. And, Janis has covered "Black Mountain Blues," which was recorded by Bessie.

I know she did "Ball and Chain" by Big Mama Thornton.

i heard her do take me to the lectric chair in concert but i don,t know if she ever made a recording of it

Yes......Bessie Smith did the original " Ball & Chain " & I think that it is also the best song Janis ever did.
