Where is there a brilliant intimate blues club?

Where is there a brilliant intimate blues club?

Blues on Halstead in Chicago
The Saloon in San Francisco
Terra Blues in New York

The Slippery Noodle Inn in Indianapolis was always one of my favorites, but my all time favorites are Antones and the Continental Club in Austin. (The 311 is there also. You might of heard of the guy that use to play there. His initials are SRV.)

well, where are you?
4th St, a block from Birdland West, Long Beach, CA,
Juanita's in downtown Little Rock, AR
Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel Providence, RI
Agora Ballroom, Hartford, CT

Legends in Chicago
Rhythm Room in Phoenix

The "55 Bar" in New York City.

West Village, Christoper Street. One of the very last true dirty old Jazz / Blues joints left in New York. Small, intimate, dripping with vibe. Week nights are more well-known fusion and Jazz artists, Weekend nights are mostly Blues. I've played there lots of time, and it don't get much better in NYC. Very small, so there ain't a bad seat in the house!
