Did Stevie Ray Vaughn ever do a version of "Steamroller blues", if so where can I find it??

I have heard that it exists but I cannot find it

I have much of Stevie Ray's music but no "Steamroller Blues"....would have been great too! Of course, everything that Stevie Ray did was fantastic in my book...even "Mary Had a Little Lamb"! Maybe it's out there in some bootleg tape....hopefully to be released with other unreleased tracks.

Not that I know of.

James Taylor did for sure.

I have quite a number of SRV live boots but it's on none of those. If it exists, my guess is it was a live version.

Don't think so. But as previously mentioned, James Taylor does. I believe the first is on his Sweet Baby James album. The other is a live version on his first Greatest Hits.
If there is a SRV version it may be on a live bootleg.

Dunno, never have liked that song. Sounds like a Broadway song set to 12 bars.

I have been an SRV fanatic ever since I heard the guy.
I have numorous bootleg tapes of live shows, but have never heard of him doing "Steamroller Blues".
Sorry about that. I don't think he ever played that tune.

I don't think so,,,, but Stevie was the Greatest!!!!!

no he didn't but his brother has played that song live on many occasions
