IS THIS a good wah pedal?????

It's called a "Wha Wha Pedal" and only "Cry Baby" is the Best.

Jimi Hendrix used them !

It's not too bad, price wise or playability it's a solid pedal. The only real trouble with Dunlop pedals is the inconsistancy overall in their products, no two of the same exact model ever sound exactly the same....I'd reccomend a Vox wah over the Dunlops any day...Snarling Dawgs also makes exceptional wah pedals that smoke the Dunlops.....just depends upon your price range

I couldn't tell you what is "best" but I own a crybaby and I am very satisfied with it.

It looks like a company is exploiting the Jimi Hendrix name. I believe Hendrix used a Vox Cry Baby wah wah pedal and an Arbiter Of England fuzz box. These are probably the best if they are still around. Another good one is the Morley wah wah / volume / power booster pedal. Thats what I have.
How does this pedal sound and what kind of warrantee is on it?
I've never seen or heard of this one. Who manufactures it?

Looks like you've already got some solid advice on Dunlop products. I've used them and they're fairly solid and a decent deal for the money. I've not used this particular "Jimi Hendrix" model. But.... I will tell you that the best Wah Wah I've ever used is this one:

The Fulltone "Clyde Deluxe Wah" is really really good. Unlike the Dunlop model you have specified, it has three different sound settings, and an overall effect level. Between te two of these controls, you can really dial in just the sound you want.

This may sound like an endorsement for Fulltone : - ) but it's not. They do make some great stuff, but when the question of a good Wah Wah pedal comes up, I really have to say, the The Fulltone "Clyde Deluxe Wah" is really outstanding and hard to match.

Not a cheap pedal, but more than worth the price.

I dunno , Have you tried it out? do you like it? Personally (and i go WAY back..as a hardrock / metal / other guitarist) i detest wah pedals , and never used one. I believe that the Wah was the godfather of the "I can't play anything interesting..so let me dazzle you with some sonic BS" pedals, now - don't flame me, cause i like some great players who used them, but i liked more when they DIDN'T. I'd say buy it if you want to play around with it - better yet...get a Talk-box , you're gonna end up doing the "Wah mouth face" anyway..LOL! You may as well use it to control the effect..

That depends on what YOU think it sounds like. You can get reviews of most musical equipment by checking the Harmony Central website. For $89 CND that sounds like a good price, but you really need to hear it in use with your guitar, your amp, and your other effects to tell if you like it. I use a Fulltone "Clyde Deluxe" wah-wah pedal, but it costs a LOT more. Shop around, check the reviews on other pedals (try a RMC "Reese" wah pedal too) and then make your decision. I use the Fulltone pedal because I think it is the best, although I have never heard a wah pedal that I think is perfect.

BTW: they are NOT called "wha-wha" pedals, and are sometimes referred to as simply a "wah" pedal.
