I've recently been watching the videos on Youtube and have run across some great ones. They really set me back in time. One Tin Soldier, Sam Stone, 7 Spanish Angels (with Willie Nelson & Ray Charles), What A Wonderful World (Louie Armstrong), To Sir With Love (Lulu), Honey (Bobby Goldsboro), Ode To Billy Joe (Bobbie Gentry), watched one with Tom Jones and Janet Joplin doing a duet on his show. I can't remember what song it was but type in either of their names and it pops right up.Diamonds And Rust (Joan Baez) Sometimes I get stuck in there. I type in one thing and just get carried away because different videos keep popping up. I can't really say that I have a favorite but if I'm having a bad day I watch the What A Wonderful World and feel a bit better. Of course Louie Armstrong always seemed like he was so damned happy.

The best one is Maureen McGovern singing "Way To Go" during a live concert at Wolf Trap. This probably happened in 2004.

From a "blues" standpoint, this a very lively jump-blues song even though the song is more "be-boppy" than straight blues.
Still, she reminds me of that well known African-American scat singer--Ella Fitzgerald.

Ms. McGovern's scatting pyrotechnics were definitely right on in that song, hitting the high notes as well as any coloratura opera soprano can. Although that video is 3 1/2 minutes, if you have not seen it, you should see it. Her singing will literally blow you away......
