My Wah Pedal seems to make a clipping noise when its engaged what could be causing this?

this is my set up
1.Vox Valvetronix Amp set on AC30 all dials at noon
2.Small Stone Phase shifter
3.Small Clone chorus pedal
4.Digitech Delay Pedal
5.Boss Blues Driver D2
6.Beringer Hell babe Wah-----this is the one that clips makes amp crakle.
then my Les Paul Gipson

You may also want to get a good ol' can of compressed air. You can by one at any photography store. Open the pedal and blow out any dust that might have built up over time. sometimes dust bildup can cause static charges. Sounds odd, but I've seen it happen before.

Good Luck!

Check the battery. I know it sounds logical and you may already have. Alot of wah's are active while plugged in and if you leave your's plugged for extended periods then the battery is probably the first thing to check/replace.

I would take it into the place where you bought it . Don't take any chances with your gear
