During ancient times, aliens visited us regularly, naturally we learned alot from them. Blues is one of the things they have imparted on our small minds back then, that was about 60 years ago, the Blues has really changed and evolved since then.

do your own work! you will never learn anything unless you do it for yourself. Research techniques will come in useful to you one day!

Even if you just read the back threads RIGHT IN THIS FORUM you will find a lot of info.

A little 'google-fu' will go a long way.

Blue Music is all about tradition and personal expression.

For the History of the Blues look at this site ...

For blue music today talk about how R N B came about - you can include how although blue music has changed in terms of chords ect, the way of expressing personal emotions remains the same - talk about Aaliyah, Beyonce, Usher, Mary J Blige and Alicia Keys ect.

Have a look a this website too ...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythm_and_...

Good luck...

It has been around long before slavery , the African tribes would beat the drum in the same way that you would hear a standard blues beat , they did this in their ceremonies and would dance to the beat ,
