Suggest any good blues/rock songs?

I really wanna get into blues music, but i only know some artists.. Johnny Winter, some Led Zeppelin has blues roots in it, and Muddy Waters. ... Any other artists? Suggest some good songs for me, too? THX!

i love roadhouse blues by the doors. I know ALOT of classic rock bands just not enough blues influences.

There is a lot of great blues music out there. Here are a few of my favorites:
Robert Johnson is good for delta blues.
Son House is another great old time blues player.
BB King and Eric Clapton "Riding with the King" is a great CD.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd "Ledbetter Heights" is his best album in my opinion.
RL Burnside - "A *** Pocket of Whiskey" Great CD
Robert Randolph
Luther Allison
John Lee Hooker
Finally anything by Stevie Ray Vaughn or Jimi Hendrix is a must have in any blues collection.

B.B. King is a good one. Then there's Robert Johnson, one of the original blues/rock players. He inspired most the genre today. "Crossroads" is definitely one of the best blues songs out there. Hope I helped...

try the doors

you might like the song roadhouse blues by them

the song im a soul man by the blues brthers or all that jazz but i dont no who sings that

Go directly to Howlin' Wolf. Then Elmore James. And Buddy Guy. A lot of people really like Robert Cray and Stevie Ray Vaughn, as well. You already mentioned Muddy, so you're off to a good start. Seriously, buy as many Howlin' Wolf records as you can.

Above all, first dig into B.B. King's "The Thrill is Gone".
CLASSIC! Find yourself poring over Eric Clapton's assorted Blues--Many many to discover. Both artists are on a disc entitled Riding With The King.
Find some Billie Holiday albums, (they may be remastered on CD, since she's been gone so long and the recordings would have been on vinyl's predecessor.)
Enjoy exploring!!!

can't go wrong with robert Johnson. a great classical bluesman who's legend is nearly as big as the legend behind him
but if you really want to get into the blues I suggest to get into the roots of the blues with guys like Son house, Leadbelly and Charlie Patton
it can be hard to digest in the beginning but it's good that you get a grip of where blues came from
My own introduction to the blues was John Lee Hooker
great emotional blues
now I breathe pretty much every not of the stuff
