What kind of tremolo bridge is on the SRV "Lenny" guitar?

its something diferent that a vintage fender
go to www.fender.com/lenny and eake a look please

The guitar was originally bought by SRV's wife "Lenny" in 1980 as a birthday gift for Stevie Ray.
It was a 1965 Strat that was originally sunburst but was poorly refinished in a semi-transparent mahagony color. The body was sanded before painting giving it a more "rounded" appearance and the tremolo/bridge was not a Fender-made unit. Probably an aftermarket piece (import?).
The electronics in Lenny are a mess- poor soldering with the 2 tone pots switched around.
Anyone buying the guitar will probably hang it on a wall and hope that it appreciates in value. It's selling at Guitar Center for $17,000 on 12/12/07. Since they only are making 185 of them you can only buy one. Darn!

fender guitar fender bridge... no?

Stevie Ray Vaughan (1954鈥?990) Known for his Texas blues style guitar playing. Vaughan was an American blues guitarist and is considered highly influential for his driving guitar style soaked with rhythmic style playing. Vaughan is noted for playing a Stratocaster equipped with a left-handed vibrato system. He is also known for tuning his guitar down a half-step and using heavy strings

Maybe you'll find an answer buried somewhere at Guitar Center's website, since they own that guitar now..
