Price range for this GUITAR???!!!!?

A guitar was given to me because the man no longer tried to play, and claimed he was never any good, but had a great guitar. The name says Abilene on the head and inside the body, and that its MADE IN INDONESIA. Its a semi-hollow body electric, candy apple red, black pick guard, dual humbuckers, it looks just like the guitar Chuck Berry and B.B. King own and use. Does anybody know about this make of guitar, and an approximate price range? I like my other guitars better because they're not as big, this one just does not seem to fit me. I cannot even find a home site by Abilene guitars. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

yes, i also see that it is made by Samick. It is in exellent condition, not a single scratch or scuff anywhere to be found. Everything works and is tight fitted, no warped neck. Only thing I dont like is just my personal preference... Im not as comfortable playing such a wide bodied guitar. I'm just looking to sell it or perhaps give it away to a friend, I just didnt want to hand over a guitar, and later find out its rareness and high price tag. The only two guitar shops in my town do not buy used, and a pawn shop would give me 15 bucks, lol!

I managed a large music store for 11 years, and we sold Abilene guitars. It is actually made by the worlds largest musical instrument builder Samick. Samick makes entry level guitars for alot of the major manufactures (Epiphone/Gibson, BC Rich, Breedlove, Jackson etc)
Abilene is one of thier private lines. It is not an expensive guitar $175-$225 new depending who you buy it from. If the neck is not warped, and the frets are resonable, a simple guitar shop set-up will make it a great guitar to learn on! Have fun!

If you want to sell it $100 would probably be fair. Put in the paper, pawn shops will screw ya. $125. most $80 least.
