I saw the Blues Brothers band play in Shepards Bush, London a few years back (it was an awesome night, I got pulled up on to the stage by Eddie Floyd!!) Unfortunately Matt Murphy didn't make the show due to illness. I think I heard he had heart trouble of some kind, does anyone know any more about his condition? I don't know....Matt is really great & so is Eddie Floyd. ---I am old enough to have appreciated Eddie back in the '60's & " Knock On Wood " was & still is one of my favorite songs.---It must have been great to be up on stage with him ?---I hope he did " Knock On Wood " while you were up there with him ??----I hope Matt is OK...... i'm sorry i have looked on 5 different sites and i can't find anything about him after 1996...I typed in Matt Murphy's death and nothing came up so i think he's alright..what a legend.... |
