Pearl Jam Amp....?

I'm looking for a new amp and its between the Fender Blues Deluxe or the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe..... which one would give me a better Pearl Jam sound....(specifically Mike Mccready)

As I understand, they are the same amp, only the Hot rod has a 2nd crunch channel that is pretty grungy sounding.
The Blues Deville, Deluxe, and Junior were first introduced in tweed cover, then eventually the black covering was added, the 2nd crunch channel was added, and they changed the name to Hot Rod. Now the 'Blues' name and the tweed are available once again, but it is the same amp. I would go with the Hot Rod because all the same sounds as the blues deluxe are there, plus the 2nd high gain channel.
I think they just market the tweed ones for the 'look.'

Strange catagory for it.

I would take YOUR guitar down to the music store and try it out in both amps.. Take your time, and play with the settings.

I concur with the second answer... I would opt for the Hot Rod series, specifically the 4x10 model... it can sound like a Bassman, and when cranked on the 2nd crunch channel it sounds like itself!
