Day to remember john lennon?

john was the best! hes my idol and i love his music. all john lennon fans go check out my yahoo 360.
a few words for our legend?

Like you he and the Beatles are my idol! I have been a Beatles fan for over 35 years.
I remember that God awful day. I went to his vigil in Central Park, it was the Sunday after he died, I got a train went into NYC with my friends, we walked from Penn Station to the Dakota is a few miles, when my friends and I walked to the Dakota , there were cops standing in the front of the gates where he was killed, they had white fences to guard off the area we then walked across the street to Central Park as the crowd formed, over 100,000 people were there paying their respects. I made a BIG sign saying: "Long Live Lennon!". It was a cold day, we were in the city for a good 13 hours, I was freezing and ended up getting the flu 3 days after the vigil.
I love you John and miss you and wonder what songs you would have written if you were still here!

John Lennon is amazing. He will be missed. He may have died but his music still lives on.

John, you might not be with us physically, but your music stills in our hearts...We miss you!!

john lennon was and still remains a legend!
and he was one of the most inspiring and versatile personalities ever existed!
i adore him and will always do!
though im still very young, i can understand why people loved and still love him so much.
its a pity that the new generation ( the vast majority of it) never listens to good music, like the lennon's music.and it is also a pity that few people remember what music was like in the past.
