I'm not retarded. i know who she is but like who is she really? like besides that famous pop art painting and that painting of her in the white dress. but how did she get famous? was she an actress, or a model? cuz she was really pretty.

As such, she probably seemed a little dangerous to people in her era, and this may have added to her popularity. She died of a recreational drug overdose, possibly suicidal, in 1962, again before such deaths were common among entertainment icons.

She publicly sang Happy Birthday to President Kennedy which made people speculate that JFK was getting some side action from her. Her most popular films included The Seven Year Itch, in which she stood on top of subway grate scratching her a*rse as a breeze blew her dress up, and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
