How can I become an actress?

I've always been told I'm good at acting and I'd really want to star on a disney TV show like Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez! I was wondering how I can do this? thank you.

First, take some acting classes. Prepare as many monologues as you can possibly find. Before you get an agent and headshots, you should try to find work to brush up your skills. Look in the newspaper and online for casting notices. Some may require a headshot (8x10" picture) and a resume. Always get a professional photographer to do your headshots. Once you build up your resume, submit your headshot and resume to an agent. An agent submits your information for casting. Try finding an agent that submits for films, commercials, industrials, and theatre. They will contact you and ask you to come in for an audition. Once you get an agent, you still should be looking for work for yourself as well. Always constantly be taking acting classes. You can never have enough.

join a local theater group and look out for auditions for tv shows. thats how i got my start =) lol good luck!

it depends where you live if you want to go to open casting call. but if you have not much experience you should build up your resume and do community theater commercials and such usually you can find lots of open calls in big cities and you could also get an agent there are tons online

Join a local theater group. You may be just working on the sets at first, but if you let them know you want to act, you will get a tryout. You can learn a lot by watching the other actors and asking questions.

go to as much auditions as you can. always try your hardest no matter what. you'll get your dream eventually

u need to realize something, its not easy in the business and evryone wants to get in. if it were that easy it wouldnt be worth it.

but on the other hand if ur good enough maybe u can actually be a star, but train before auditioning 4 anything. some of the stars u see on tv arent as good as they can be.

thik about it carefully. remember, acting is a strictly demanding career. either your great an your in, or your good and get out. what i mean is that the chances of becoming an actress is low. i also wanted to be one but then i realized that maybe it wasnt a good idea. i mean, all the papparazzi, and having to have a perfect pose, a perfect body, a perfect face... well, i just guess thats not for me. BUT, if you want to give it a try, go to google and type "acting manangers" or "movie auditions" or something similar. i wish you all the luck possible and i hope to see you in my tv soon :)
