Are you a fan of my chemical romance!?! are they a cool band!?! are they an emo band!?!?

i love my chemical romance but some people dont!!!!! they are a amazing band and they are incredible live (saw them last week) they are not emo it is just all the haters that label them that.. gerard the singer of the band calls them "violent pop" wich i think describes them quite well... if you are going to listen to their music dont simply listen to one song and then decide you dont like them! all of their songs are different. especially on their latest album the black parade... theyre songs are really meaningful and inspiring i truly suggest listening to them and all you mcr haters maybe you should get past their apperance adn maybe listen to some of their music and know them before you judge them

2)Cool? That's an understatement
3)They are often described as emo but I disagree.. Their frontman Gerard Way also disagrees and has said that emo "is a pile of ****."
So you know.. they obviously don't want to labelled as emo and that isnt the sound they're going for..However, I do think their song "I'm not okay" is emo
But that doesnt mean that they're an emo band.
It's like saying they ONLY sing rock ballads because of their song "I don't love you"

I think they are a punk rock band and I'm not really sure about emo band.
But I love them!
