Why are teen magazines even sold?

They annoy me so much. Who cares who "Miley's biggest secret is?" Or "Nick Jonas's biggest obession"

What's the appeal?

I am talking about Bop, Tiger beat, J-14 etc.

I have no idea. They always have The Jonas Brothers and Miley, Fall out Boy, and the Cast Of High School Musical on the cover. They are always the same things about their most emabarassing moments, and about how much money they spend on purses. the only people i know who read them are 12 year old little tweens. and this girl i know named kristin who is 15. but she is in an 11 years old body.

I see them on racks.....they look dumb.
I think the other ones like Seventeen or TeenVouge are good though. They don't obsess over celebs.

They make lots of money for the TV networks, teen related products and the magazine companies.

Teen's wanna know the latest gossip about they're favorate celebs. I have many... Or maybe they just want the posters... x]

Some girls like reading secrets about their favourite idols- I read lots of teen mags, but mainly for the fashion sections. THe celebrity parts don't really interest me, but it doesn't mean that it doesn't interest other people.

kids must buy them

They are very fun and you get free posters with them.I'm 11 years old for your information,and I subscribe to M magazine,and they have a lot of info on what the stars are doing and who is dating who they talk about gossip,rumors,latest albums,and who is going on tour
