So a screamo band (who shall remain nameless) came into town and i was uber excited, so after the concert (which was freakin ace) the lead singer was hanging round, i asked for his autograph and he started complimenting me A LOT, and of course i was happy cause this is a hot rock star! Then he asked me if the guy i was hanging round with was my boyfriend, i said no and he was like "you should go out with her man, i mean, look at her" and my friend was embarassed. THEN, he told me which club they were going to and asked to see me there later.

Was he looking for sex, did he think i was a groupie!?!

Im not showing off, I was just wondering what he was expecting if i DID go to hang out with them. And i didnt because I thought he expected me to sleep with them.

he probably did think you were a groupie...and no offence the fact that you've used the words "screamo", "uber" "freakin ace" kind of makes you sound like one too lol

No he was being nice. Chances are he thought you would cool to hang with. The best way to build a strong fan base is to be loyal to your fans.

All I can say was that he acted very sexually inappropriately towards you. He probably was looking for sex although you didn't act like a groupie towards him. It is normal for a woman to get an autograph after a show without sex on her mind. Some men can be so chauvinistic.

He might have just been looking for people to party with and who better then adoring fans that want your autograph. Also depends on whether he invited both you and your friend to the club later or made of point of only inviting you and when you say " asked to see me there later" did he say " Will I see you there later? or "I would like to see you there later"? There is a lot of room for interpretation in what happened but I have been in situations like this before when the band invited friends and I and were just looking for some company to have a drink with, nothing more. He may have thought you were a groupie but most likely just thought you were a fan and perhaps he would have tried to sleep with you if you showed up there alone. But without us knowing the way he looked at you when talking to you and the exact phrasing of his words, it is impossible for us to know his intent.
