Any JOHN LENNON Fans Out There!!?

Please do tell me what you admire about him, songs you like by him(and with the Beatles too), or just any John Lennon stuff you know.

Please don't bash him, if you don't like John Lennon don't answer my question, I promise you I'm not havin' it!!!!

What signifigance did that answer have to my question?

I was in NYC the night he was shot. I can still tell you who I was with, what I was doing and even what I had been drinking that night. I will never forget it. I thought he was great.

John Lennons cool i love his glasses and the songs imagine, come together, i am the walrus, all you need is love, i want to hold your hand and many but but i'm not gonna name them all

I love "Imagine" and "Woman" (Woman I know you understand, the little child inside of a man.) I like "A Long And Winding Road", "Get Back", "Anna", "Revolution", "Hey Jude"....
One of the things I admires about him was his talent at writing songs. Another thing I love was his ability to take time off and enjoy life ....

First, anyone in their right mind that would bash John Lennon would need to have their head examined. Second I can sum up John Lennon and the Beatles in one simple sentence.

"Music in general would not be what it is today without the Beatles as a whole"

They were the quintessential influence of Rock n' Roll as we know it. Every group or Individual that was influenced by the Beatles passed that influence right down the line to everyone else that group had influenced, thus bringing my statement to fruition....
