Why oh why do so many people HATE Celine Dion????

I think her music is great, I think she looks great and I think she has a fabulous voice so why is it that people don't like her?

Im not 1 of them!! Celine dion is 1 of my fave singers!!! I luv her music, its all so romantic :)

For the same reason I hate nails down a chalk board. She is extremely irritating and sings the most God-awfully sickly songs in the world.

i do like her, i think she's great

She does look good, and has a great voice. But her music doesn't do it for me. I have tried many times to enjoy her music, but i just can't do it. Plus i think she is over-rated, unlike far superior similar artists like Sarah Brightman for example.

Because other people have different tastes to you. Personally I think she sounds like somebody abusing a cat, so there you go.

Her type of music is not for everyone! but the vocal /love song music tends to make people dislike an artist even if they have a fantastic talent!

Also she brings poltics into her career - the French Canadian independence, like turning down the award years ago!

My partner loves Celine Dion and has seen her live,can't say I'm a fan myself but I don't hate her,she does have an amazing voice but I'm not into her kind of music.

From my view and others that I know, it's because her music is boring. Plain and simple: it is dull. Some the songs are alright, and I won't argue that she has a great voice, because she does. But she sings all the same type of songs, they're all metered the same way, all the same theme and all the same vocal style.

Her music is just lifeless to me, and good music to go to sleep to. There's no emotion in what she does, no feeling. It's dead. That is why I do not like her. It has nothing to do with her voice, but with the music itself.

i love her. i think she's beautiful and i love her songs. they're so romantic and make me dream of wonderful things. she's wonderful and has a beautiful talent.

I like her song about her son I think it is a new days come or something. That's okay. She is a good vocal singer. That's all I am giving her for now though.
