Miley Cyrus HELP!!! DESPERATE!!!!(Third time, i know)?

Yes third time I've posted this, but I'm getting desperate. Bottom line: I have tickets to the Miley Cyrus concert on December 22nd that my parents DONT know about, and my dad bought tickets to a basketball game the same day. Ok here's a few things I need to tell you. I bought the tickets with my own money and my parents won't care that I have them. Also, my dad won't care if I go to the concert instead of the game. Ok so I don't know what to do now. One thing i DON'T want to do is have a "talk" with my dad saying I'd rather go to the concert. I need a good exucse that would sound legit, and that wouldn't make me sound gay. Oh, and I'm going to the concert no matter what. Any ideas?

well obviously if you are going no matter what it appears that you had better just talk to him.

Tell him you gfot the tickets to get a gifl to go out with you. he'll apreciate that and probably be happy and proud of you.

Since they just about always find out everything anyway, just tell them. Can you try explaining how much this concert would mean to you? I can see it in your letter and I don't know you but I can really tell you want to go. Good luck!

say that your best friend gave you the tickets and she has no one else to go with and threatened not to be your friend if you don't go with her.

Just tell him straight out what happened; that you bought tickets to the concert before he got the basketball game tickets, and you really want to go to both, but you've decided to go to the concert instead. Good luck

I would NOT suggest lying to him. If he wouldn't care, why don't you just tell him that you bought tickets to a concert. Also, if you don't tell him, how are you going to get to the concert?

If you can't figure this one out on your own, you're too immature to be allowed to go to a concert on your own. Miley Cyrus is over-rated anyway. I'd rather scalp the tickets and use the money to buy something nice for my parents.

just say that u didnt want to upset him but shes only coming here once and u dont know when she'll ever come back. u have to talk even if u dont want to. make it quick and simple. say i love u dad but this is basically a once in a life time thing!lol

If your dad wouldnt mind be honest and tell him you are going to this great concert, that your friends will be there, no need to lie, you dont sound gay you sound like normal teenager, besides if you were gay who cares!! You can even say it's your xmas gift to yourself! just be honest

That you have had these tickets for a while and planed everything and didnt notice it was on the night of the basketball game untill now and that you really want to go (and why [cause i dont know]) and it is a once-in-a-lifetime deal not that the game isnt either.
The same thing happened to me but with a fall out boy concert and a football game. I really wanted to go to both of them but i went for the concert with my friends.

Don't make any excuses. If he truly doesn't care, just let him know.
Just say,
Hey dad, I have been looking forward to this concert, but it is on the same day as the basketball game you have tickets for. I already bought the tickets with my own money, and I wish I could go to both. I hope you don't mind me going, but I already have decided that I am going no matter what. I can make it up to you and we can go to a basketball game another day.
Then let the conversation flow. And try not to make it a yelling contest.
It will only make a wedge in your relationship with him.

I would just say you got the tickets before he did and you really want to go to this concert.

get 1 of those thermometers to check your temperature, put it under a 60watt light bulb on that day n pretend you're sick n u have to stay home n make it sound like u want to go to the basketball game so he'll feel sorry 4 u n say that u have to stay home then when your parents leave get a taxi or whatever n go to the concert

Say one of your friends, gave you an early Christmas present, because she knew you really wanted it, make sure its cool with her just in case he calls her.

Or say you won a radio contest, and really want to go, because when you went to look online for tickets they were sold out...

tell your parents you made a new friend from school. her name is lily and she's really nice and she invited you a couple of other friends to a concert. tell them you want to go to the concert to spend time with her becuase she's on a busy schedule and you think the concert would be fun.

tell your rents and tell your dad that u really really wanna go to the concert and that u really love him but really wanna go to the concert.... and dont mention the jonas bros lol (u no how daddys are lol) and uh dont sound gay lol ...

See if he would be willing to take another family memeber to the game in your place. You been to probably every game with him every year anyways so what is one game missed for a concert on the same night going to do? Just come out and explain to him that you heard about the concert and you went and gotten tickets before finding out about the basketball game happening the same night and before you could say anything about the concert and wanting to go he had went and gotten the tickets to the game.

Ask him if he would be willing to settle for your mom or one of your other siblings going (if your not an only child) OR maybe another relative to take your place this time around. There is gonna be other games so I don't think it would hurt him if you told him what you did and what you want to do.

Just tell your dad you don`t want to the basketball game and then ask your friend to go with you

just tell him how you feel.

Just say talk i'm sure he won't mind. He'll understand.
