Who had the most hits from The Beatles, songs which were sung and influenced by Paul or by John?

I realize they shared song writing rights by having Lennon and McCartney on all of the songs; however, you can hear songs which have a John sound and songs which have a Paul sound.

They penned many, many tunes together. This is a sort of a chicken and egg sort of deal. One is just as talented as the other, but one wouldn't have been as famous without the other.
