Who hates BET? I know I do.?

The reason why I hate BET is because it suppose to be for black artist but what about the ones they don't show. The only kind of music they show are r&b and hip-hop. Black people singer other styles of music. Eveytime they give an lifetime achievement awrad they give it to the ones who do not deserve it for example Mary J. Blige. What did she do? The two peolpe who should have that award does not sing any of those stles of music. They are Charlie Pride who sings country music and the Queen of Rock and Roll the one and only Tina Turner. Tell me what do you all think about bet and the way they treat other singers?

I really don't like BET! I call it Black Exploitation Television! They rather show degrading shows like College Hill and 106 and Park where they encourage youths to listen to "often time" very explicit adult songs. I agree with you that there are a lot of artists that have been in the industry long before these "so called Lifetime Achievers" were even heard of. Most singers are only promoted through their looks nowadays and not their talent. BET is so corrupt that it would not surprise me if they pick Jennifer Hudson(who just got in the game) first over Tina Turner for a lifetime achievement award! There are some racists that complain about Black people having BET but if they would see the quality of the shows, they would know that it is nothing for decent Black people to brag about!
