Scientology is just the religion du jour among celebrities. It's replaced Buddhism and Kaballah for the most part among our countries wealthier citizens. Next, they'll probably be worshipping cheese curds or something equally as nutty.

the sad part about that quote is that scientology is structured in a way that causes each member to "donate" tens of thousands of dollars for auditing classes.

Another interesting fact is that hubbard (the wrinkly pedo that started this mischief) was a moderately skilled hypnotist.

oh did I mention that high ranking members of scientology (including hubbard's wife) were arrested during the late 70s because they tried to infiltrate various government organizations so they could speed up their attainment of tax exempt status.

The whole point of religion is funny as hell msblack. All of this stuff is weird and funny. Mostly of us believe that a ghost knocked up a virgin (wtf?) and 9 months later a baby was born so y'all can't say too much about those who believe in a holy spaghetti monster, santa claus, mermaids or whatever lo (no disrespect to bible thumbers, quran's thumbers or whatever)

He doesn't. It's true that he's friends with Tom Cruise, but when Tom offered to introduce Will to Scientology, Will politely declined the offer. That's what happened according to many media reports (and, if I recall correctly, according to Will himself) and Will is NOT a Scientologist. In fact I think he and his family is Christian.

I think it's his wife, Jada that is into this deal. Not him. He's just nice about it.

What wierd ****? The stuff that gets posted here? Even the anti-scientology posters will tell you that most scientologists dont believe that. Its supposed to be "secret knowledge known at the top". Kinda like pope secrets. (thats if its actually a belief of theirs at all)

Most "scientologists" just take a couple of self help courses from them then quit. I did that decades ago. Good stuff.
