Is this a good piano for a beginner? |
http://www.sears.ca/gp/product/B000WG35T... It should have 88 keys...even if you don't plan on using all 88 yet...it's a good idea to have them all available because it might mess you up when you try to play on a real piano. Also...in addition to touch-sensitive, it NEEDS to be weighted. If at all possible...I would strongly suggest also looking into getting an acoustic upright piano...you can sometimes get a good deal if you look on Craigslist or in your local newspaper....You will ultimately have better technique and you will have less risk of every have a hand injury if you learn on a real piano. It is more maintenance and it may cost a little more...but it is well worth the investment. its a nice piano, but it doesn't really matter wether your a begginer or not. it depends on what you want your piano to sound like and if you have enough room for it. instruments are personal things. i like it but i really want a baby grand black baldwin piano... What matters most is that it has 88 keys and stays in tune A nice one. |
