Can someone name this song for me?

Its a classical song on piano, very famous, i thought it was a nocturne by chopin but im not exactly sure....
it starts out with a pulse-like beat of the minor root chord... 6 quarter notes of that chord then you raise the highest tone of the chord up a half step and another 2 quarters of the new chord

sorry for the bad explanation....

I think I may know....if you are sure that it is Chopin...then i think it might be his Prelude Op. 28 No. 4 in E minor. I would try and find a recording of it on YouTube. Hopefully this is what you were looking for!

its slipknot and the song is called left behind k

Yeah it is quite a bad explanation... can't help you based on that.. Good luck trying to find an answer

hmm...ok, i know what you mean by the bad explanation, i would look for an expert like the ones on http://www.thepianoteachers.com/ cuz i know of some teachers that can answer questions like that. Check it.

I'd be surprised if anyone can help you based on that. Moreover, being a classical piece, it's unlikely to be a "song."

It might help if you knew the key and time signature....maybe
