I need help with a piano, anyone??

I'm looking to upgrade to a full size upright piano and called my local piano dealer. When i called he told me he had a 5 year old Samick World model, 52" upright, with ebony finish and mahogany trim...i'm having trouble finding much information on it, could someone help if they know anything about it, or a site that has information, or oppinions if you have any??? He quoted me $3,400 for it, which includes delivery and a 5 year warranty. Also looked at a Yamaha U1 upright for 3,250 (have to move it myself, no warranty), but waiting to hear back on the year and serial # so i can check it, so if you have anything to say about that, that would be great, or if you have any other suggestions on comparable uprights (would prefer to stay at 52", at least 48"). Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

according to the guy, its equivalent to a knabe piano now, and at the time was samick's high end model

Yamaha beats Samick hands down. Samick is ok if you are just tinkering around or for a beginning player. But if you are a seasoned player, I would suggest investing in a nicer piano. I still think $3400 seems high for a Samick piano. I wouldn't pay it. But that's just me. Just an opinion from someone who's been playing for 27 years and used to play piano for a living.
